Participation of the library in implementing ISO 9001 in the Maritime University of Szczecin

The paper presents a process of implementation ISO 9001 in the Maritime University of Szczecin. The Main Library as one of University's organizational unit take part in this process and received an ISO 9001 certificate. A set of library's documentation such as policy and practice for users, organizational structure and collection management policy have been described. The process an external and internal inspection was presented.
