The new Council of Ministers' project of decree regarding the National Informatization Plan 2007-2010

The project's agenda includes 2 million PLN of funding for the "Ikonka" project, whose main goal is to provide general Internet access for the public through creation of the so-called "Internet reading rooms"at public libraries in all voivodship' counties.
The project also involves the implementation of a few sub-projects geared at the improvement of Polish digital content.
- Creation of methodology for MK storage of various archives, library and museum resources (documents, manuscripts, incunabula, periodicals, etc.) and making them accessible through various media (CDs, DVDs), as well as systematic digital archiving of the content.
- Creation of "Polish Culture" service - the source of information about Polish culture; the Encyclopaedia of Polish Culture included (http://www.culture.pl)
- Expansion of the Polish Internet Library's resources.
