A New edition of festival "4 Seasons of Book" starts. The Book Institute (Instytut Książki) invites all institutions promoting culture to cooperate. Events proposed should concern the frame program of The Book Institute:
- Poetry Season (Subject: Leśmian)
- Popular Literature Festival: POPLIT (Subject: children and young adult literature, fantasy, women's literature, literature dealing with cooking, historical writing)
- Prose Season (Subject: Conrad and contemporary political prose)
- Detective Stories Festival (No topic yet)
Non-profit and profit organizations such as libraries, publishers, associations, foundations etc. are invited to put forward a proposal for organization of literature events to be held as part of the Festival (see http://www.mkidn.gov.pl for more details). Deadlines for proposals are: 10th January, 10th April, 10th September.
At national level project is sponsored by The Book Institute. Partners of the project can expect following help:
- Organization of minimum one event with presence of a well-known artist
- Concept of the festival
- National promotion
- Help with preparation of the local events plan
