Bibliomania - the Book Festival

This year, for the fourth time, Warsaw will host a book festival, 'Bibliomania'. The end of May and the beginning of June will be the time when city dwellers and tourists will have an opportunity to enjoy a variety of books.

This event, whose main goal is to promote books and reading, particularly among younger readers, will last from May 29 till June 13th and will be organized and hosted by Polskie Bractwo Kawalerów Gutenberga (the Polish Brotherhood of Gutenberg's Knights). This year's honorary patrons are: President Kwasniewski and the First Lady, Jolanta Kwasniewska.

After inaugural events (performed at the Royal Castle in Warsaw) have been completed, the book fair will commence at the Plac Zamkowy. As every year, the readers will be able to pick and choose from the variety of books and meet with representatives of publishing houses and authors.
