The article discusses the possibilities of implementing and usage of the
Dublin Core standard in the description of articles published in the
electronic format. The author analyses the structure of the standard
and the issues pertaining to its practical usage (e.g., which of the
Dublin Core elements contains information about title, author,
affiliations, or the format of the full text). The author presents the
metadata of the article in the Dublin Core scheme using his own text,
formerly published by EBIB; he also mentions the advantages of using
this standard.

the Wroclaw Polytechnic.
The article discusses the electronic services (chargeable and free)
offered by the main library of the Wroclaw Polytechnic listed on its
homepage. The authors discuss the range and the extent of these
services as well as their advantages. There are also practical
guidelines destined for the libraries which intend to offer similar
services on their www.pages. According to the authors - a well planned
and operated service increases the bulk of satisfied users.

The gathering of the electronic publications - what should we remember?
The article is destined and dedicated to libraries which intend to enter
into legal agreements (arrangements) with the publisher in the matters
of access to electronic publications. The author outlines basic
negotiation guidelines and quotes laws pertinent to such agreements
referring readers to appropriate pages on the Internet.
